I really don’t understand why anyone would give Hotel La Rose less than 5 stars on any of the categories. My wife and I were there at Christmas time and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this grand hotel. Great friendly staff, great location, cozy room, comfortable bed, very nice restaurant attached to it. What more can one realistically want or expect? If you have appreciation for getting what you pay for, then Hotel La Rose is an extraordinary treat!

Very nice place, and super cute for the holidays. We had the double queen room. The beds were comfortable. There was a separate sitting room and a private balcony. On-street and lot parking, both metered and starting at 9 am. They also have their own lot about a block away. Great attached restaurant, and great coffee shop across the street.

We recently visited Santa Rosa for the first time while visiting wine country and chose to stay in the historic railroad district. We stayed in one of the carriage house junior suites, just across the street from the main historic hotel. There were many restaurant options within walking distance so the location was excellent for downtown Santa Rosa. In our suite, the accommodations were great. Lots of space and extremely comfortable mattress and pillows. We appreciated that the most. Service at the front desk was friendly and they were able to give us bottled water and a toothbrush that we forgot. Parking is across the street, diagonally from the hotel, for $15 a day.

We stayed one night on Sat, Jan 6th 2024. (Room 68) We had a party out and come back to hotel after midnight. We were so tired and went to bed right away. I set the heat temp at 70. However, me and my wife woke up four times or more while we were sleeping. The heater was not working and we were freezing cold. we told front desk what happrn when we go out to breakfast. When we check out, he probably forgot who I was and ask me how was the night. I told him it was cold and he remembered me and told he reported to maintenance. My stay is over already and reporting to maintenance is not what I wanted to here. I stayed this hotel because of the location anf it looks antique. However, I strongly recommend anyone to think one more time to stay this one over oxford suite or others which are near by.

Excellent old world, European vibe in a 100 year old building. Nicely appointed rooms with comfortable beds and lots of good pillows. Excellent variety of TV channels. They used to have a very good free breakfast, but not since the Grossman's deli-restaurant moved in.

They're is coincidentally no supervisor working at any time. The lady working behind the front desk had to be the most rude and judgemental woman I've ever experienced in a customer service position. It was a rainy day and when my boyfriend and I came in muddy and wet from the rain... However she decided at that moment based solely on our appearance she was going to do everything in her power to not rent us a room and found every possible fine print exscuse not to rent to me even tho I had the money and had already paid for the room. Elizabeth glide saying that they did not accept have to pay payments when impact not only do they accept have to pay payments I just made a tap to pay payment in their restaurant

Check in and out was smooth and easy, didn't park on-site but the lot across the street was free from 6pm-9am. Hotels was clean and pleasant but the downtown area itself was not what we were hoping for (everything closes by 9). Room was very spacious and had a lovely little patio. No ghosts.

Hotel La Rose is a Santa Rosa institution and a historical landmark. Fun location, charming rooms, great view from the higher floors, and connected to a fantastic restaurant on the ground floor. I always recommend this hotel when my friends and family are visiting. Such a cool place.
